THE SEJ AWARDS COMMITTEE
The SEJ Awards Committee is comprised of five
members who are responsible for the operation
of the program and to assure the integrity of
its administration each year.
- The President of the SEJ United Methodist
Men, or his designee, shall be the Chairman
of the Committee.
- The President of the G. Ross Freeman Foundation,
Inc. shall be a member to provide liaison.
- Three active Conference Presidents elected
by the SEJ United Methodist Men Conference Presidents
to serve during their terms of office but not
to exceed four years.
The Committee meets annually during the Fall
Meeting of the SEJ Conference Presidents, and
at other times as needed, to review the work and
facilitate the operation of the program.

- Norman Burton, President of the Alabama-West
Florida Conference United Methodist Men
- John Reeves, President of the Virginia Conference
United Methodist Men
- William C. "Bill" Smith, immediate past President
of the South Carolina Conference United Methodist
Men
