This issue's featured articles include:

  • Morristown (TN) Men & Jackets to Iraq - A mom's simple question, "Do you need anything?", to her soldier son stationed in Iraq led to an amazing example of sharing the love of Jesus with those who don't know Him. See how men's fellowships from many different churches united in prayer and action to witness for our Lord on the other side of the world. Click for more.
  • UMM partner with the UM Children's Home - When men accept Christ's call to be His hands and feet, good things come from bad. As Joseph said in Genesis 50:20 NLV, "You planned to do a bad thing.... But God planned it for good..."
After an arson fire tragically destroyed a cottage at the UM Children's Home in Decatur GA, it was unclear how the Children's home would rebuild this residence for the young men in their care. But after the word of this need reached the men of the North Georgia Conference, by God's grace wheels were set in motion that showed the UMC connection at its best.  Click for more.
  • 100 Years in Ministry - As Methodism's founder John Wesley rode more than 75,000 miles in faithful response to Christ's call to share the Gospel, in 2008 United Methodist Men celebrate 100 years of men in mission and ministry, putting their faith in action in the Wesleyan tradition.
In 1908, men's ministry was first recognized by the General Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, thus acknowledging the unique role of men as a vital part in the church's fulfillment of the great commission. Click for more.
