The third Seven Week Bible Study is now available.
Following Christ
by Dr. G. Ross Freeman
with Topics for Reflection
by Roy Lifsey.
What does it mean to be a Christian, a follower of the man from Nazareth? How close dare we follow? These studies reveal that it is possible to follow Jesus A Far Off, as a Part of the Crowd, as a Disciple, as a Friend, or as an Apostle. But the day comes when we have followed as far as we can. In the passage for the seventh week, he leaves his followers. They followed him out to the hill where they watched him wondering what would happen next. As they were watching, he was lifted up out of their sight. Stunned, they looked at one another in wonderment. How are they to follow him now?
The concepts in this study Following Christ and the concurrent Topics for Reflection have been tested by an excited group in Douglas, GA. Offer your church an opportunity to study them.
The symbol on the cover tells a story in itself. It is the Greek letter Omega the last letter in the Greek alphabet. Alpha the beginning and Omega the end. We are to follow Christ to the end, and then beyond. |
