to enable pastors, empower laity, strengthen small-membership
churches, and champion United Methodist Men. Written
at the request of United Methodist Men to affirm
the ministry of men, this autobiography traces
movements in which he has been a participant for
more than fifty-two years under appointment.
Freeman's journey from boy evangelist, preaching
in abandoned churches and at backyard revivals,
to Methodist leader and commentator is, without
doubt, inspirational to all and is evidence of
his unique talent and drive.
