ABOUT US
The Southeastern Jurisdiction (SEJ) is a region
of the United Methodist Church in the nine Southern
states, one of Five Jurisdictions in the United
States, with 14 Annual Conferences plus one Missionary
Conference, presided over by 13 Bishops.
United Methodist Men (UMM) include male members
who wish to participate in ministries of Evangelism,
Missions, and Spiritual Growth.
We are organized in Local Fellowships, District
Organizations, Annual Conferences, Jurisdictional
Presidents, the National Association of Conference
Presidents under the guidance and inspiration
of the official General Commission of United Methodist
Men. All men are welcome.
The Southeastern Jurisdiction United Methodist
Men (SEJ UMM) approved the G. Ross Freeman Leadership
Award Program in June of 2002 to honor Pastorswho
encourage the Ministries of Men in Evangelism,
Missions, and Spiritual Growth.
In addition to the varied projects in each church,
district, annual conferences and the Jurisdiction
promoted and funded by the men, we support efforts
