United Men's Ministry Course
March 23-24 - Greenville, SC

The Greenville District and the SCC UMM announce a regional United Men’s Ministry course, developed by the GCUMM and Man in the Mirror, and the GBOD. The course will be March 23 (Friday evening for 4 hours) and March 24 (all day)  at  Aldersgate UMC in Greenville, SC (www.aumcsc.org/ ).

This is a regional course, open to all within 125 miles or so of Greenville, as a Lay Speaking Course but especially for those who may with to take the course as credit for one of the requirements for becoming a Certified Men’s Ministry Specialist. The instructor will be Dick Strachan, former president of the Western NC Conference and one of the principal authors of the course. Dick is one of four men designated by the GCUMM and GBOD to present the course for those wishing to work toward getting Men’s Ministry Specialist certification. While the course will be in a Lay Speaking format, and Lay Speakers will receive credit for an advanced course, anyone wishing to take the course to help them  understand how to more effectively reach men to make disciples will be welcome. It is based on the Man in the Mirror book, “No Man Left Behind”.

The cost will be $45, including all materials.  We will not start taking registrations until sometime in January, but if you wish to reserve your place, please contact Bill Smith at billsmith@intexa.com with full contact information.
