G. Ross Freeman Leadership Award for 2011 presented to Rev. Eddie Braswell

The Southeastern Jurisdiction United Methodist Men and the G. Ross Freeman Foundation, Inc. are pleased to recognize the following servant leader as a witness to the power of God in the life of this committed pastor.

Rev Eddie Braswell The G. Ross Freeman Leadership Award of the South Georgia Conference for 2011 goes to the Rev. Eddie Braswell Sr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Dawson, Georgia in the Americus District. Rev. Braswell has served this church for three years.  He has been a constant supporter of all United Methodist Men activities.  He also supports the District UMM with prayers and attendance at many functions.  Rev. Braswell was great help in forming a disaster relief team.

He also speaks about UMM in church, revivals and even during hospital visits.  For these and many other reasons, it is with great pride that the United Methodist Men of the South Georgia Conference join the United Methodist Men of the Southeastern Jurisdiction in presenting the G. Ross Freeman Leadership Award to the Rev. Eddie Braswell Sr.  for 2011.

The G. Ross Freeman Foundation, Inc., and the Southeastern Jurisdiction United Methodist Men give all glory to God for the leadership provided by these faithful pastors. 

The Southeastern Jurisdiction United Methodist Men (SEJ UMM) approved the G. Ross Freeman Leadership Award Program in June of 2002 to honor Pastors who encourage the Ministries of Men in Evangelism, Missions, and Spiritual Growth.
